Willie Clark guilty of killing Darrent Williams
Posted by Mike Florio on March 11, 2010 2:16 PM ET In a verdict that is a bit more surprising given that two alternate jurors would have voted to acquit, Willie Clark has been convicted of the murder of Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams, according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post. Clark has been convicted both of murdering Williams and attempted murder of the other persons in the limo in which Williams and others were riding. The jury deliberated for a total of 12 hours over three days. Clark will remain in jail while he awaits trial in a separate murder case.  |
