Are we sure Holmgren knows what he's doing?

I thought we were. He went at 13 right before we picked at 18 and got Barbie Carp. At the time I was really pissed because Wimbley is from my hometown and I watched him play in high school. But his career has been similiar to Carp's, disappointing to this point.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

i thought he did pretty well a couple years ago getting around 11 sacks . . . . but i don't know about the rest of his game. think he had some injuries as well last season.

If Al gave a number one for an over the hill Seymour, this guy must be multiple ones.

Not really sure why they traded this guy, but maybe Mangini doesnt like what he sees. He had a pretty good rookie yr but has been a pretty big disappointment since then.

Seymour isn't over the hill, he just wasn't worth a 1st round pick.

Of course, its Oaklands 3rd which would be like Dallas 2nd so it wouldn't be worth it for this team.

It wouldnt have been worth it anyway, Spencer is a better player than he is at this point.

i was extremely high on this guy coming into the draft and im still very high on him.. i would have loved to give a third for him but hes not really necessary considering we have ware and spencer and others.. but i feel like raiders got a bargain.
