Chris Faytok/The Star-LedgerAnthony Davis worked out for 11 teams in a private workout Tuesday.
Less than three weeks after Anthony Davis was a no-show during Rutgers’ pro day drills, the offensive tackle flashed his skills for NFL representatives on Tuesday. The projected first-round pick held a private workout for 11 teams, including the Jets and Giants.

The 6-5, 323-pound Davis, who didn't work out for NFL scouts on March 10 because he wasn’t feeling well and had a tweaked hamstring, ran through all the requisite positional drills and took part in one-on-one meetings with team reps, his agent Sunny Shah said.

“He did all the things that the teams wanted him to do today,” Shah told The Star-Ledger. “He’s 100 percent healthy. A sore hammy was the reason he wasn’t able to work out (three weeks ago).”

Shah confirmed that Davis, who worked out at an indoor facility a few minutes from campus since the Bubble was down, has “a number of meetings and visits set up” in the run-up to the NFL Draft April 22-24.

Shah also dispelled the notion that Davis, who declared for the draft after his junior year, needed to make amends for not working out for scouts during Rutgers’ pro day.

“I think that was overblown,” Shah said. “It was something that we planned on doing the whole time. Anthony’s athletic ability, agility and mobility are tremendous at that size. This is what we planned on doing the whole time. And (missing positional drills) had no bearing. Not at all.”

Doak Walker Award winner Toby Gerhart held a private workout for the Jets Monday, according to a report in the National Football Post. The 6-1, 235-pound former Stanford RB, who was a Heisman Trophy finalist, worked out for Jets' RB coach Anthony Lynn at Stanford.
