Portable Generators
Anybody had any experience with the Honeywell HW2000i Inverter Generator? I have been looking at Honda EU2000 and 3000 series and they are very nice but much more expensive. I ran across the Honeywell the other day and for the price, it's remarkable. Of course, this assumes it is worth the $500.00 price tag.
Anybody had any experience with these?
Thank you,
ABQ

first off what do you want it for? Then how often will you use it, and how long do you estimate you will be running it each time? For occasional use the cheapies will do just fine. Constant use then you should spend more money (the Honda's are overpriced-there are other top quality ones cheaper).

So..... no, you haven't ever used a Honeywell?
I'm looking for Super quiet Generators. Usually, that's Honda, Coleman, I think Yamaha makes one but I saw this one. I've never used a Honeywell Generator. Just trying to see if anybody has any experience with the product.

Like a third of the price. I use them for camping, hunting, fishing. The one I have now is about had it. I need to buy a replacement but had just never had any experience with these. Didn't even know they existed till just a short time ago.

Yes, and Honeywells are very good generators. We used them all the time when I had my construction business.
That sounds like a great price.

Man I hope so Hos. I think I'm going to go out and buy one this weekend. I'm dying to go fishing.
