Default How about a different topic - Bullet Bob

Hayes. I was reading the newspaper here in beautiful sunny orlando the other day and they just casually tossed out a 40 time that stunned me. We all go gaga over someone who runs a 4.2. Did you realize that the great Mr. Hayes ran a 4.0 flat?! Holy cow!

He literally changed the position as we know it. A topic near and dear to my heart ...

My first favorite Cowboy - Bob Hayes.

<RANT>
Bob Hayes not being in the Hall of Fame is a tribute to the monumental prejudice and abysmal ignorance of the half-witted sportswriters who cast the votes. It negates any shred of integrity the HOF may have had and attests to the foolishness of the decision to let these dastardly bigots determine membership based purely on their one-sided biases instead of letting the members of the HOF select the new ones. How are sportswriters going to be better qualified than the great players themselves? What kind of morons run the HOF, anyway?
</RANT>

That's my story and I'm sticking by it.

I feel better now; your turn.

I'm with Sarge...my all time fav...

In fact, he's the reason I became a Cowboy's fan...I was a kid, heard the announcer on the TV say something about "the world's fastest human"...I thought that was pretty cool...then I saw the star on the helmet as was HOOKED.

Mr Hayes, was a football player fellas...not only a track guy...

He had terrific hands...ran great routes...was a phenomenal punt returner with great moves...he wasn't just a speed guy...

And he got SCEEEEREWWWWED by not being elected to the HOF.
RIP Santiago

You may enjoy this story about Hayes... Bob Hayes

He is one of my alltime favorites... thus my sig...

There is also a lonely wallpaper up for adoption honoring The Bullet...

There is absolutely, positively NO excuse for him not having his rightful place in Canton...

I agree with you agreeing with me.

Bob Hayes is also the reason I became a Cowboy fan.

If it weren't for Bob Hayes - you guys wouldn't know me.

Think about that.

You guys wouldn't know me if it weren't for bullet Bob Hayes.

That alone should get him into Canton.

In all seriousness, the NFL Hall of Fame means to me because Bob Hayes is not a member.

There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.
