Default 2010 HOF Class

Emmitt will be up for the HOF in 2010 (I think). Let's assume thet Rice finally hangs it up and D. Sanders doesn't return... That's one hell of a class, is it possible that one of them wouldn't be a first ballot Hall of Famer? Throw in Brent Jones, Bruce Smith and perhaps Favre (if he retires) and all of sudden perhaps Emmitt doesn't get in... Just food for thought.

Theres nothing that could bump Emmitt from being a first ballot hall of famer. If you want stats, he has the greatest stats of any player at his position in history. Want TDs? He has the 2nd most in league history. Want Super Bowls? He has 3 rings. That is just insane to think he could possibly be bumped even with the Cowboys bias. But I don't think Favre and Sanders hang it up, even though I wouldn't be surprised to see Favre go. But Deion was talking about wanting Moss on the Ravens, so I think he plans on making a return. But Emmitt and Rice in the same class would be amazing, the greatest RB and Wr of all time goin in together.

End of story.

There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.

Default Emmitt is a first time HoF entry for sure

I thought the Bang cartoon with Emmitt was very funny because it made fun of the truth. I do not like that Emmitt Smith is all about Emmitt and the money, that is obvious with every contract hold out and every time he speaks. Emmitt Smith is not a team player he is all about Emmitt but his records and performance speak for themselves and he is a first time entry in the Hall of Fame even if he was a Cowboy.
The 92-93 Dallas Cowboys was one of the best football teams in history, they were dominant. Emmitt was the MVP of one of those Super Bowls, I do not care how much anyone dislikes Emmitt or the Dallas Cowboys Emmitt is definatly going in first ballot. Plus he made a few yards in his career. He did not have off feild distractions such as drugs, prostitutes, Drunk Driving etc. They have no choice even as a Cowboy he goes in first ballot. Curly
