Audio: Andre Gurode on The Fan
Gurode on The Fan
--------------------------
Talks about Pete Prisco picking him for the most overrated Cowboy.
These hosts are dreadful. Gavin and Gregg.
Seriously. Stick me, Hos and Theebs on this station for four hours a day.
I know we would have better ratings.

now my 2 cents worth is this; i feel that Bigg Davis and Gurode were our weakest link on the offensive line last year.
that gurode doesnt take things serious enough on the offensiive line, need i remind you DC, that in practice yesterday, were reports that the ball was snapped and romo wasnt ready for it (im assuming that gurode was the center when the ball was snapped,)
now again, im not there, and i dont know if romo held the ball to long, or what or if gurode wasnt just paying attention
but those kind of problems needs to be addressed by romo and jason garrett very strongly

I am so glad that we have our residential psychic because insight like this is invaluable.

well what about those snaps a few years back that gurode had with romo
again, i dont know who was guilty, if gurode snapped the ball before he should have or if romo was looking at the defense too long and not having his head in the game, or whatever, but the problem needs to be addressed and fixed wouldnt you agree?
it happened in yesterdays practice, the ball was snapped before romo was ready, why?

As a host, or as a human trainwreck guest ala Howard Stern's "wackpack" ?

Despite labeling myself a "realist", no one understands my pain or appreciates my special truth. Stupid world.

Gurode did play the worst of our OL last year, IMO. I don't see how anyone could think otherwise.
He also, probably not coinicidentally, looked to be in the worst physical condition of all the starting OL.
The OL was great at run blocking, in spurts. They were terrible in short-yardage situations, and the pass blocking was average and worse. If Romo weren't a magician at escaping the rush, we could've seen 50 sacks. Gurode was a big part of that. They all bear part of the blame, and Gurode deserves a ton of it.
He's nowhere near the caliber of player that some here present him as.
