They have a feature up where they ask various celebrities for their picks in the Super Bowl. My favorite is as follows:

Carly Patterson, gymnast: "New England, 23-17. No self-respecting Cowboys fan would root for the Eagles, no matter what the circumstance."

Give that girl a beer (just not one of mine).

Let this be a lesson to all of you "I'm rooting for the Eagles because I don't want the Pats to win 3 out of 4 like us" people out there.

Will it suck if New England ties our mark? Yes.

Will it suck infinitely more if Philthy and their fans win a Super Bowl? Hell Yes!

I'd rather be a fan of my team, opposed to putting my team behind just to see another team do bad. Darren Woodson stated (and I'm sure the rest of the 90's Cowboys feel the same way) that he'd be rooting for the Eagles because he doesn't want the Pats to tie there mark.

May that be a lesson to you. I'd rather the team I root for get what it wants then go against that just because you don't another team win one measely Superbowl.

Well my team isn't playing right now, so I have to pick a side:

-Patriots win 3 out of 4, matching the Cowboys' record, and being considered the next dynasty

Well, the term "dynasty" doesn't mean much for as long the NFL exists, there are going to be dynasties from time to time. I have no real beef with the Patriots organization, coaches, or players. So that just leaves the 3 out of 4. Do you honestly believe that this will be the last NFL team to win 3 Super Bowl in 4 years? I have news for you, it won't be. While the Cowboys are the only ones who have gotten the record so far, others have come amazingly close. Even in such days of NFL parody in which we live in today, the Pats are about to pull it off. And when they do, who hear (aside from Nors) actually thinks that these Pats are better than our 92-95 Boys teams? Our guys would have killed them.

or

-Philthy and their fans gets their first Super Bowl Championship

So the worst fans in the entire Nation actually have bragging rights over the entire Football community? So the group of people who cheered while the Playmaker lied motionless on the turf gets the opportunity to say they're the best? So the fans of the team who are our biggest current day rivals can not only run NFC East Smack and NFC Smack but Super Bowl Smack? I don't know about you but I enjoy frequenting this site on an almost daily basis and having Philthy troll after Philthy troll creep over here, like the grotesque filth they are, to shove it in our face is not exactly my idea of fun.

Nope, I stick with my original statement.

Go Pats!

man beautiful post crying me soem tears. THAT IS THE REAL POINT. We were the first lets be proud of that, i bet walter payton thought his record woudl never be matched let alone broken, but in a sunny day in Big D two years ago that thought was shatterted records were meant to be broken, to be matched i'd rather the pats. win than the eagles (those self indulging mornic ......) to win even one SB CHOKE EAGLES CHOKE:iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles:

MINE EITHER!!!!!!!

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.
