Pretty brutal. I don't think he should have punched her, but physical force was necessary there.

My thoughts are that the way the reporter speaks in an almost whisper is annoying.

I don't have speakers, so I can't hear what is said. I don't know why the women were stopped. But . . . I think it was justified. Two rather large women physically fighting a cop while a crowd gathers.

I'm a firm believer in never hitting a woman, but you have to respect police officers. They have inherintly dangerous jobs.

He was being a Dudley do-right and questioning her about jay-walking (That's not in this video). Apparently she flipped a wig, and this is what transpired.

She assaulted a police officer in the line of duty and paid with her face. The race card can't be far behind.

That was a pretty good sock in the face.

I see no problem. That could have gotten out of hand fast for the cop if he didn't react.

You always respect a police officer... I couldn't imagine getting in a physical altercation with one, thats just plain stupid.

You can't jaywalk and then put your hands on the police afterwards.

You shouldn't put your hands on a cop period.

I doubt it was going to get out of hand. He should have taken her to the ground instead. He just lost his nerve.

The problem is that if he was attempting to subdue her, he should have done it another way. You don't swing a haymaker at someone's face in order to take them to the ground to subdue them. He only did that because he lost control.
