Default Seized documents in Galea case have NFL link

Seized documents in Galea case have NFL link per PFT
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on June 21, 2010 7:29 PM ET
We mentioned over the weekend that all had been quiet on the hGH front since Santana Moss' name was initially tied to Dr. Anthony Galea.

It's almost like someone out there was reading, ready to give us some material during the upcoming NFL ssssslow season.

Mike Fish of ESPN reports that an "NFL file folder" was among the long list of items seized by Canadian authorities when they searched Galea's office last October. Other football related items included a "Professional Players Journal," and "daytimer with football dates." CFL material was also obtained, according to court documents.

The details of the wide variety of substances obtained can be viewed here, but we still won't know the implications of the case for some time.

"This is an ongoing federal investigation and we will cooperate fully, but we defer any comment at this time to the federal authorities," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Fish.

Santana Moss-WR- Redskins Jun. 21 - 5:32 pm et

Authorities reportedly obtained an "NFL file folder" during their search of Dr. Anthony Galea's Toronto office last month.

The file folder presumably contains information about Galea's potentially HGH-related interactions with players including Redskins WR Santana Moss. ESPN's Adam Schefter predicted on Twitter Monday that the situation could be "another BALCO," although we'd hesitate to go that far without any concrete links other than those to Moss. The NFL is cooperating with investigators.

I like how Shanny keeps saying oh Moss will be cleared when it all comes out dude is going to be suspended. It may be next year depending on how long it takes for the Feds to get everything processed but Moss is going down with what looks like a lot of other players.

The league will burn this evidence like it did the Spygate scandal.

I bet there so was so much more to that story than what met the eye, especially considering how fast the league swept it under the rug so quickly.

The NFL can't afford to have this in the public's eye, especially when one of the league's biggest stars is on the client list.

They can not burn anything or sweep it under the covers once the trials start and the evidence comes out it is going to be like BALCO. It is a federal investigation just like Vick it took a long time for all that data to come out the Feds are never fast at releasing information.

It is going to blow up and this time I do not think they will hide names like they did in the BALCO case.
