Audio File Audio: Nate Newton not happy right now

Nate Newton from Coop and Nate was not impressed with the performance from the Cowboys...

Nate and Coop - Aug 30

The offensive line was a huge problem. That's were Nate made his money and it has to be killing him to see these guys missing blocks left and right. Andre Gurode is getting worse and worse as the days go by in my opinion. He just has lost a step now and he's always losing his man right off the snap and sometimes it looks like he doesn't even know who to block.

If Nate's not happy, think how Tony feels.

I'm just messing with you. Nate does have a point. The Oline has been a little suspect but I think they will come together as we get closer to the opening bell. The key is to avoid any more injuries at this point.

What pisses me off more than anything is the fact that Jerry and Co. knew going in to last season that the OL was barely serviceable and would not hold up to a strong DL,,, yet they did nothing and they still persist with this idiotic notion that they can have a strong OL staffed with lucky late round draft picks.

Nate would make a great O-line coach whenever Houck steps down. I don't know if he's interested in coaching or not, but he has the experience and motivational skills to be a great coach. I'd hate to see him on some other staff.

What more could they have done?

Leonard Davis #2 overall pick and was highest paid player in the league in 2007.

Colombo first rounder.

Barron first rounder.

Gurode top of 2nd round.

Kosier free agent and our best or 2nd best OL

Name one lucky late rounder or are you just talking w/o thinking first?

Did you watch the sideline interview? Tony looked concerned and has little confidence. On a couple of occasions, he was throwing the ball a bit too quickly.

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"

Hos should be along to tell us he knows better than Nate, Broadus, Baldinger, etc. etc.

...and that concerns are unfounded...

I get being a homer and thinking everything will be alright.

But don't talk like you are from Mars.
