Tampering Eagles?????
While I imagine all players, coaches and GM's around the league talk to players under contract with other teams, there are rules that prohibit this I am told. Living in the South Jersey region, all you hear about is talk of the 10 Pro Bowl players getting Mushin Muhammad and Shaun Alexander to take "team photos" with them in Hawaii. Add this to the so-called courtship last year with Terrell Owens, admittedly by Reid and McNabb, the region is abuzz with the fact that these two players will become available and sign with the Birds. I know everyone probably does it, and I have to admit that I would love the Cowboys to do it, but to blantantly do it, isnt that against the leagues tampering policy??????

Ray Lewis tried last year with TO, almost worked too.

It's only tampering if team officials are involved. Most of these players either went to school together, played against each other in college, have the same agent, hang out and train in the offseason together. So of course they're gonna push their team toward a pending FA they think would help their team. It's only natural.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

yea, anymore the big incentive for going to the pro bowl is so that you can recruit for your team.

I don't know ...there's a lot of chatter out there that says Alexander nor Muhammad are a match for the already tight Eagles offense. Many want to see if Westbrook is staying or otherwise.
But let's take a quick peep ...Westbrook in the slot, Alexander as a running back, and T.O. in the flat as WR. McNabb would have a fantastic running and passing attack. Sounds feasible!
Some believe the probowl was just a fun photo opportunity ... something like this one ...

Get my point!
Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! ( Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."

First off Love the Trish Stratus pic. I thought it was Tit-ilating. Secondly, I don't see you guys fitting both Alexander and Muhammad under the cap after franchising Corey Simon.
I'm not sure that Alexander fits in because the Eagles are a finesse passing team. They simply don't have any kind of consistent committment to running the football. Muhammed is more a vertical receiver than the Eagle offense would dictate and I still think that McNabb's strengths are throwing short and running (not necessarily in that order). His weaknesses are probably pass accuracy and playing in big games: it seems the bigger the stage the worse he plays.

The "bigger the games" is usually the same as "against better defenses"...so he plays his worst against the better defenses, which is why they have the title "better".

So you've been talking with Freddie again.....knew he would say that.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

I don't know ..I still think Muhammad or Alexander brings depth and solidifies the Eagles run game. As far as Freddie Mitchell is concerned, I think he may have some issues controlling what he says to the media, but he is a clutch player that can perform under pressure (e.g., third and short...)
