SportsCenter leads with Jones vs. Parcells
In the opening of the show they mention a JJ vs. Parcells showdown. One wants a player and the other does not want the same player.
On right now.

If there is any feud between Jones and Parcells, it wouldn't suprise me. In fact, if this turns out to be true, it would only confirm who was in charge of the team last year.
There were reports that Jerry Jones wanted Henson to start after midseason but that Parcells wouldn't have anyone but Vinny as the starter. Jerry just handled the situation with class and didn't start a public feud; he allowed Parcells the final say. Jerry didn't want to appear as a meddler as he had in the past so he backed down and allowed Parcells to have his way.
However, it wouldn't suprise me to see these two argue over Bledsoe. I don't get the impression Jerry wants to sign him and that if he were to be signed, it would be due to Parcell's insistence.

Parcells Wants Bledsoe....This is probably the begining of the end for Parcells in Dallas...
Same thing happened in New England in 1996....Robert Kraft insisted on drafting an offensive player at #7 overall in the draft. Parcells wanted a Defensive player...
At the end of that year Parcells left to coach the Jets..
The player Kraft drafted despite Parcells wishes...TERRY GLENN...
Will be interestng to see what happens in this show down in Dallas...
If Bledsoe is signed, then Jerry Jones let Parcells make the football decision and pick "his" guy...
I think Jerry Jones wants Henson starting this year and he knows if Bledsoe comes in it willbe at least 2 years as Bledsoe leads the team.
Stay Tuned............

nothing to shout about... basically Ed Werder repeated what was reported earlier. Jones thinks Bledsoe might impede the development of Henson, but is willing to give into Parcells...
Bledsoe said he'd come to Dallas because of the history with BP, but like reported earlier, is interested in 4-5 teams...
geez guys, how many ways can you spin this stuff?? it's nothing we haven't heard ad nauseum the last few days...
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Just watched it; went like this
Ed Werner reported
Bledsoe says Parcell's presence with Cowboys gives the Cowboys a favorable advantage in comparison to the other 4 teams he is possibly interested in.
Bledsoe says he will likely sign with the team he will most likely retire from
Jerry Jones is hesitant to sign Bledsoe for fear of delaying Henson's development but said that he would probably yield to Parcell's demands
Claimed insiders at Valley Ranch feel that Parcells may only be with the team for another year which complicates any Drew Bledsoe signing.

Yeah.
You could say that. The last thing we need is Parcells leaving his guys around like droppings.

I'm not usually too rough on Jerry, but IMO he must defer to Parcells in this case. He simply cannot afford running Parcells off.
Perhaps signing Bledsoe isn't the best thing for this team, but if it's what Parcells feels the team needs, then the move needs to be made. Jones brought Parcells here to coach the team and get us back to contention and he cannot be expected to do that with players he doesn't trust or want.
The last thing Jones wants or needs is to run off Parcells and make this an undesirable coaching position once again. Additionally, I'm sorry, but Jerry's track record with post-Troy Aikman quarterbacks is poor at best.
He threw Quincy and Hutch out there too quickly, and let's see where that got us. Why is patience so bad when it comes to Henson? Unless we start investing in TOP young talents at the position, we need to let these guys grow before they're thrown into the fire. Only the top-of-the-mill guys really get thrown into the fire across the league by other teams.
Just let Parcells make the decisions. If they're wrong, the blame will be placed on him and Jerry will get a new chance when a new coach is named. The only way Jerry looks bad in all this is if he interferes and forces Parcells out, or to make decisions he doesn't want to make.

Total garbage. ESPN and other mediots have been looking for the Parcells, Jones relationship to sour so they can say "Nanee, nanee, boo, boo". All they want to do is start controversy because their lives are ****ing boring. I don't see anything at all that implies that there is any souring whatsoever in their relationship.
Is there any reward for good other than good?
