Stop the QB Madness lets talk about Eddie George
So we all pretty much know that Eddie George is gone, but how will he go? Will we use him in some sort of a trade, or just let him ger released in FA? I know he did not do much for the Cowboys, but I do think he can and will be able to contribute with another team. He did show signs that he could still run at times when he had an open hole. Where do you guys think he will end up?

Trade would be nice but I don't see it happening. Nobody will trade for a 30 something FA who will likely be released anyway.

Dallas is going to give him his outright release. I like Eddie but I hate to say it if he does not retire he is looking at a backup job with few carries for a cheap price. I think he calls it quits.

As far as I know, the George deal was for 1 year.
This means we are not releasing him. We don't have his rights to do so. It also means we don't have him to trade. He's not a part of this team at all.
George was no longer a part of this team the minute the last game ended.

I think your may be right but was not sure if it was a 1 or 2 year deal, it really does not matter he will no longer be with the team

Or perhaps a 3rd and short conversion back -- an Eagles Jerome Bettus (the Bus). Hmmm interestIng, but we'd prefer Shaun Alexander for that purpose.
Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! ( Hunt cry "the prey has been sighted") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."

Maybe someone can start a thread that proposes trading Eddie George for Drew Brees straight up.

I'd almost forgotten that Eddie George even played for us last year.
I'd say he's done.
I like Eddie, but I don't even want him in a backup capacity next year.
Go get a heavy, north-south runner and have him backup JuJo.
