Default DMN: David Moore: The Cowboys should beat the Bears but might be 1-2 entering bye wk

David Moore, Cowboys beat writer for The Dallas Morning News and SportsDayDFW.com, answered questions about the team in a live chat Friday. Some of the highlights:

On the Cowboys possibility of starting 0-2 with a loss to the Bears: The Cowboys should beat the Bears. The prospect of an 0-2 record heading into a road game at Houston before the bye break should give them a sense of urgency. But the way the Cowboys are playing right now, I don't think anyone can argue it will be a walkover.

I hate it when we assume wins and skip ahead to future games. Makes me really uneasy... Last time I really remember that was the Chiefs game last year. It's the NFL, any team can win, and in this case it's too early in the year to even know who is good and who isn't.

Hopefully the team is ready to roll today. I do think the home crowd will really help, unless we get behind early.
