Default Witten being held out

He was screaming on the sideline. He certainly didn't look like a guy who had a concussion. Usually guys that all held out look groggy.

That decision could have costs us the game.

Default DMN Blog: Jason Witten diagnosed with a concussion

The clock will start on tight end Jason Witten, who was diagnosed with a concussion in the fourth quarter after he ricocheted between Brian Urlacher and safety Chris Harris.

If Witten cannot play next week at Houston, then the Cowboys would be down to one healthy tight end (Martellus Bennett ) and would have to make a roster move. Tight ends Martin Rucker and Scott Chandler are on the practice squad.

He has been diagnosed with a concussion. The training staff made the correct call.

I would rather endure the loss of a game than to risk a players health.

You can't always tell that a guy has a concussion by looking at him. The training staff did the right thing.

What?? I am pretty sure the medical staff knew what they were doing.

You can't mess around with concussions.

We all know Jason Witten is a fierce competitor, I bet he would want to play even with a broken leg.

Just pick anyone and point the finger of blame. Seems to work for everyone else.

Agreed.

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"
