Can't believe they didn't blow the whistle but they blew it for Marty B on the next series that kept the clock going lol.

99 times out of 100 the whistle is blown, and the play is dead. We are the one-percenters, when it comes to oddball scenarios, it seems.
victory is ours

The officials are way too big a part of the game these days... Too may rules and rules interpretations.

bb, have you got that 3rd down spot just before the half when they moved the ball to the center of the field and placed it beyond the first down line?

The more I watch it, the more clear it is that it was forward progress. He never tried to do anything other than stay on his feet.

I hate to be a guy who blames the refs for losing, so i'm not going to do that. Even if we score on that drive the bears probably aren't as conservative on offense, but who knows.
But the refs were bad once again today. Ware was held several times and they were not called. But they did miss the blatant facemask by spencer, although ware also had his facemask grabbed the same play.
But the worst of all was this play here. How is that not blown dead. It was ridiculous. And then bennet gets out of bounds later but the say his forward progress was stopped and they wind the clock. The officiating was plain terrible again.
However, its partly our fault for putting ourselves in that position. Who knows, if we get the calls maybe we win. But that is something we will never know. We played bad and did not deserve to win yet again.

Forward progress. No hate goes to Roy Williams though today, even for the fumble. He's played well the first two games, no need to give him a hard time.

agreed, the forward progression was stopped, 9 times out of ten, that play is blown dead before the fumble.. Roy has done everything asked of him, he made two tough catches today where he got absolutely blasted and held onto the ball.

Between the Denver game last year and today, Tony might be trying to get him killed.

I even think Roy got a raw deal on that one.

Funny as soon as Roy was getting tackled I actually turned walked away to get a beer thinking the play was over, only to find out that he fumbled

This play is not even close, fp was stopped and the play should have been stopped.
