Know your Cowboys Trivia # 2
Leaders of Trivia:
None yet, the first one was a practice trivia
As a little bit of fun, I felt like making a trivia question every other day about the Cowboys. The first person to post it gets 3 points, the second gets 2, and third geets 1 point. I feel like taking this up to 100 trivias for now, but I might make some other ones later. Ok here it is:
Trivia # 1:
What Cowboys runningback made the longest touchdown run in franchise history( and I think NFL history too )? And for how many yards?
Trivia # 2:
The Cowboys won the superbowl 5 times. However they also lost 3. What teams did they lose to on those times and what was the years?
A golden rule in life: Don't piss Bill off.

Tony Dorsett
99 yards
against the Vikings on Monday night football
draw play to get out of the shadow of their own endzone... but he took it to the near sideline and was gone.

I pray that they get increasingly harder because I know people who don't even like the NFL that know that answer.

Tony Dorsett I think it was 99 yards. Against Washington?
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss
“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.
God help us...............

Okay, fine... I'll forfeit my 3 points then. But I knew it when I was three... so there.

So like...what is the point of this contest? Assuming the questions get harder, are we trying to find the person who can google the fastest?

MNF versus Minnesota. 99 and a half yards. Newsome muffed the kickoff out inside the one. Dorsett takes it all the way and Dallas only had 10 men on the field.
Cosell had just said, Dallas just can't turn it on whenever they want to, and TD broke it, and he said, "Maybe they can."
Dandy Don was laughing saying, "99 1/2 yards."

Hey, here's another trivia question that might actually be a bit more difficult...
What color was Napolean's white horse?

You're not going to fool me Rack. I know he rode a pinto so it was a lot of colors.

what is the second longest run in cowboys history...?
now that is a toughie!!! next question will probably be:
"who is credited with scoring the quickest TD in NFL history following the opening kickoff?" or some other such ridiculously easy question. or how about who are the only defensive players on the losing team to win game MVP awards in the super bowl? or who is the only team to hold their opponent without a TD in a super bowl? (we narrowly hold that distinction thanks to Garo Yepremian in the very next season.) now those are a bit tougher, but everyone here at the forum should know all of these answers.
