Default Boom versus Bad to the Bone

I was visiting over Extremeskins to see what they are talking about in FA and I came across their version of the Boom video for Sean Taylor. I wanted to see what you guys think of their ST rookie video versus RW rookie video. based on the video alone who had a better year?

Roy Williams Boom:
Boom

Sean Taylor Bad to the Bone:
Bad to the Bone

One thing I noticed in looking at ST's video is that they highlighted 3 hits out of bounds, a facemask (which they show 3 times) leading with the helmut, a hit on TO after the play was over and a dragdown by the collar yet they want to say that RW is a dirty player go figure. there are, however, some pretty nice plays by ST. All in all, I think Boom is a much more impressive rookie season.

Let the discussion begin.

You sure you got the link right for the BOOM video? When I tried to visit it, it looked like a dead link.

I absolutely hate the deadskinnys. With a passion. I'm here in DC also. I also have no use for Taylor. I've heard him speak in interviews and I wonder how he graduated for "the u". All that being said,

dude is a heck of a physical football player. Maybe some of those plays were face mask and out of bounds hits - but they do serve a purpose. If you are on this field, I'm going to hit you.

The best thing about taylor is his weak mind. I remember Key talking smack to him during the game. When Crayton caught that TD, taylor was all over Key waiting for the big hit. As long as he doesn't develop his mental game, I think we can continue to take advantage of him.

All things held equal, I would like to have the mentally tough player. I would take Roy over taylor. Plus - taylor just does stupid stuff. Not talking to the media, tape on his face mask. Give me Roy.

While ST is a good player, his video is not better than RW's.

I don't get the part when he is talking trash to TO even though TO just moved the chains by leaps and bounds.

He's got lots of time to get better but he needs to improve his mental approach first.

It's a Miami tradition, has happened since the days of paying the guys in the 80s.

When you compare Roy's rookie season to Taylor's, it's not even close. Roy had more tackles, more sacks, more interceptions, more touchdowns, more forced fumbles, more fumbles recovered, more big hits, more players injured and a better video.

The one video they are missing is the one of Taylor doing the sobriety test for the cop.

I agree that Roy Williams is better right now and will make a bigger impact next season since he will be playing SS not FS, but don't forget that ST didn't start the whole season.

They are both good players and will probably end up as great ones.

I just watched Sean Taylor's video and I just wanna say a couple of things

1) Anyone who discredits the talent that this man posseses is TRULY the definition of an idiot, or a homer, same thing.

2) Roy Williams and Sean Taylor will be known as the best two safeties in the league

imagine Roy Williams at FS and Sean Taylor at SS on our team

MAN!!!

EDIT: I also liked how most, or a lot, of those highlights were against the Eagles

Why not Taylor as the FS and Roy as the SS? Roy is not a FS. I do agree that Taylor is a great player just as Roy is a great player when playing his natural position.
