Default Big Bill calling all the shots this year.

How much confidence does Big Bill have in Zimm? The first two years, he acquiesced to Zimm and ran the 4-3. We all no Parcells likes the 3-4. The talk of running the 3-4 tells me this, if Parcells is run out of Dallas, it will be on his terms.

Think about what is happeing right before us. Parcells is going to call the plays on offesne like he did last year. We don't have a O-Coord. He is going to run the D, b/c Zimm doesn't know the intricacies of the 3-4. Sounds a lot like the man with the Fedora aka Tom Landry. Also, Bill is making huge decisions on the personnel of this team. He will have his hands in everything this year.

He is the Offensive Coordinator. The de facto Defensive Coordinator and GM. He is calling plays on 2 of the 3 phases of the game.

Either way, this is his swan song. He will completely burn himself out this year. Look at all the hates he will wear. Plus, he did say he will be mentally tougher on the team this year. That has to take a toll on him also.

We may want to sit back and enjoy this season. I think Bill is gearing up for one last hurrah. The turn around of all turnarounds. I’m sure he doesn’t read message boards, but he does listen to the media. He is as competitive as Michael Jordan. Witness last season, he had to win every game possible. I don’t blame him. I hate losing. It contagious.

For me, I'm going to sit back and wait. If we win this year; all praises to the Tuna. If we lose - I want his arse ran out of town on the 1st bus to Philly.

Sorry for the long rant. I needed the cleansing. There is not tougher job than being a Boyz fan when we are losing. Everyone wants to take their shot and rightfully so. The sad thing is, I need for us to be dominant again. Not a 10-6 season, I need a 14-2 season at worst. And I need about four of them strung together.

Again sorry for the rant… This was truly therapeutic.
