IRVING, Texas -
The Cowboys have decided to part ways with fullback Deon Anderson, a virtual starter for three seasons who was cut on Friday.
The team made room for tight end Scott Chandler, who not only moves up from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, but is expected to be active for Sunday's game in Houston.
Chandler Thankful, Ready
"You always wonder when something like that happens," Chandler said of the multiple torn ligaments that ended his 2007 season. "And when you get another shot, you're really thankful that you have another opportunity. I think that helps keep you hungry."
Jenkins Dealing With Pain
"We didn't want to get to the point that we went too hard and I wasn't able to play at all," Jenkins said. "We're going to try it out on Sunday. Right now I feel good."
