After a week when he presumably was in the Kicker Protection Program, David Buehler reappeared Monday wearing a happy, confident smile.

Buehler had missed two key field goals in the first two games and the normally gregarious second-year kicker did not make himself available for interviews last week.

Buehler was asked Monday how difficult it was living with the avalanche of publicity that accompanies each kick, particularly missed ones.

"You can't let it get to you," Buehler said. "People are going to say stuff. I know what I have to take care of."
