Default Ryder Cup

After a frustrating day of heavy rain, they have just restarted play.

Highlight of the day so far the US team having to buy new waterproofs from the merchandise tent as the ones they had weren't waterproof

The US are handing the Euro's a beating.

Overton, Watson, Zach and Cink looking strong.

I still cannot believe Mrs Doubtfire couldn't find a place for Casey. Dumb move.

5 - 3 USA. Europe leaving putts short to win/halve points. Shocking. Rory has brass balls. Sure hope him and Tiger match up in singles.
I don't know why but I want to punch Ian Poulter in the face.

Americans ahead 6-4 but behind in all 6 matches and getting their heads kicked in.

The big concern for the European team is that they do seem to start more quickly & then get caught by the US team.

There is still a lot of golf to be played, and I still beieve that it's going to go right to the last couple of singles matches.

Just hope that they have enough time to get the matches finished tomorrow.

PS Looks like tiger has found a new partner

Looks as if the Celtic Manor course is fairly open, so Tiger's avoided driving 300 yards into any trees.

Good Day for Europe today, now means it's all up for grabs in tomorrow's singles.

Monty was asked before todays matches started what he was hoping for & he said he thouht we needed to win 4-2 so that we go into the singles level.

But to limit the US to ony a half point is unbelievable.

However, I wouldn't be hugely surprised to see the US win the singles by a big margin, as they are usually much better (and used to) playng for themselves.

I would. Harrington and the Molinari's have no chance of winning.

Wow, what a finish.

Hugely impressed with Fowler, to birdie the last three holes to get a half was immense.

I think the last few days have been a credit to both teams and why I love watching the Ryder Cup.

Already looking forward to the next one.
