State Fair Food
Has anybody tried anything new this year? I just got back from having the Krispy Kreme Hamburger, deep fired Snickers, deep dried pickles, jumbo corn dog, chocolate-dipped strawberries, smoothie, pulled pork sandwich, 4 scoops of pineapple whip and a ton of soda.

Going on Sunday! LOVE the Texas State Fair. Last year I had:
Chicken-fried bacon
Bread pudding (the best i've had actually)
Fried Peaches and Cream
Fried Latte'
Fried Guacomole Bites (my favorite thing there)
...that's all I can remember due to the stroke I had afterwards.

Chicken fried bacon! I'd like to try that. After all, it's only once a year. At least for me anyway.

We went two weeks ago and couldn't punish ourselves to eat more than pronto pups, hamburgers and a funnelcake.
They had all that other stuff you mentioned but frankly it just didn't sound that appealing.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Usually when I go to fairs, I just get a turkey leg, roasted corn, and a funnel cake, maybe a slice of pizza.
I can't do a lot of the fried sweets. It makes me afraid to turn my stomach.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

I always wanted to try the Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches like they had on a TV show that showed the State Fair.
