Default U. of Sioux Falls WR Jon Ryan is suddenly on the radar of pro scouts.

The soft-spoken senior from Watertown has caught 41 passes for 838 yards and 15 touchdown in seven games this season.

He's become the premier deep threat in NAIA football while moving into second place on the school's all-time list in touchdown catches.
And with the rapport Ryan has built with transfer quarterback Jon Eastman, he might be the most important weapon on a team intent on claiming one last national title before leaving NAIA for NCAA Division II.

USF receiver Jon Ryan has caught 159 passes for 2,866 yards during his career. His 43 touchdown catches are 12 shy of the school record. (dave eggen / inertia)
