Cowboys' slide continues with rout by Jaguars

ARLINGTON -- The Dallas Cowboys finally have hit rock bottom.
The dream season has crumbled into the abyss. Not only is there is no hope for recovery, the Cowboys don't even know where to turn.
That much was evident following Sunday's 35-17 blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at Cowboys Stadium.
Owner Jerry Jones said he has never been more embarrassed and more disappointed in a season that he hoped would end in the Super Bowl and promised to consider immediate changes, although he continues to refuse to make a change with head coach Wade Phillips.
"I'm embarrassed. Of course I am," Jones said. "And, to every fan, I should have and do take the ultimate, ultimate responsibility. I do. That's the way we're structured. That's the way I run it. I'm dumbfounded that we are [1-6].
