Jon Kitna, in a figurative sense, took out a red pen and marked up his first performance as starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys.
Kitna was 34 of 49 for 379 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions in last weekend's 35-17 loss to Jacksonville. Three of the interceptions deflected off the hands of his targets.
“Early on, when I started playing in this league, I had a guy, (quarterback) Glenn Foley, tell me, ‘Quarterbacks get an ‘A' when you win and an ‘F' when you lose regardless of what the stats look like,'” Kitna said. “So that's kind of the way I view it. You've got to play better when you lose.”
