Default ESPN: Jerry Jones has no choice now

Matt Mosley

PHILADELPHIA -- I was busy writing an Eagles column during the Cowboys' 45-7 loss to the Packers, but I've had a chance to catch up on things. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones may have said that Wade Phillips would coach the rest of the season Friday, but I think Sunday night's embarrassment will change his mind. I just read the quotes from Jones via ESPNDallas.com:

"There are a lot of people here who are certainly going to suffer and suffer consequences," Jones said after the game. "I'm talking about within the team -- players, coaches who have got careers ... I've got a lot of work to do, got a lot of decisions to make."

I can actually envision Dallas residents storming Valley Ranch if Jerry doesn't clean house. I honestly can't remember a more embarrassing team to be a fan of. My non-Cowboy friends are enjoying it a ton, though!
