Default y'all watch Keith Davis

Had another pick and was second in tackles for Berlin yesterday with 5.

Also, 2 passes defended and 2 forced fumbles. He seems to bring it every game,
looks to be a keeper, and boy is he needed.
What It Do?

It is great to see him playing so well we really need the depth.

I have a feeling he will be Woodson's primary backup.

Something tells me he's learned that lesson.

(if he hasn't then he's not a player we need)

Did anyone see Keith Davis giving a tour of Berlin on NFL Total Access (I think)? Might have been the episode where Julius was on.

Always interests me to see football players off the field. I tend to just associate them with a number and a position and it is interesting to see what kind of people they actually are.

the key for davis making the team this year is special teams. he seems like the perfect special teams player because he's athletic and he seems kinda reckless. hopefully he can come on strong this year for us.

I'll admit it. I have high hopes for him.

It wouldn't suprise me to see Davis start besides Roy this year...The 2 SS's experement has failed...It hurts in coverage...Its also hurts Dixon's play because he is a SS as well, not a FS...We need to get our players in a position to win...not fail...

Its high time The Cowboys employed a real FS again...

Woody just might be ready for the anouncer's booth...He might make a better nickle player in his final year then a starter...

You'll see Roy more and more deeper in the box, Davis will take Scotts job hopefully.

COULDNT AGREE MORE HH....
I have been saying this for over a year now- I think by the time the season starts something will be done to remedy the fact that we have two lb's playing safety.
I have a sneakin suspicion that davis will see lots of time next year- with roy moving down to a nickel lb and woody at ss with davis at fs.

IF NOT IM AFRAID WE ARE IN FOR ANOTHER YEAR OF GIVING UP LOTS of key big plays down the field- does anyone remember last year?

Somehow, I can't see us benching Woody, even in the Bill Parcells era, where you have to bring it every week. Woody is actually one of thsoe who DOES bring it every week, even if his aprtnership with Roy is not the ideal in terms of division of responsibilities, it's the best we've got in terms of the division of talent.

Now, if Keith can step up, then he and Roy can establisht that sort of rapport, but if anything I can only envision using that lineup on a limited basis, such that Woody starts some games and Keith starts others.

The other thing to recall is that having Roy and Woody together means that offenses are not sure who to key in on, as they were never meant to play strong and free safety. They may be given those designations, but from the time Roy came in, it was made clear that that was not how they would play. Having Keith in the game actually makes things easier for the opposing offense, because they know Roy is going to be strong safety, up to the LOS, and Keith is going to play deep.

I was very disappointed when he was cut last year, althouhg I supposed I could see the need for it under the circumstances. A very public statement regarding behavior was made before the shooting, as Bill needed to follow up on the threat or risk losing authority.

I'm glad he's back with the team. I doubt he'll be starting this year, but I like the way he plays. Given the choice between him, Dixon and Scott, I like Davis.
