Default StrTgrm: Cowboys quarterback Kitna ends skid with style

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- With the Dallas Cowboys lined up in victory formation, Jon Kitna took a knee. It had been a long-time coming for the veteran quarterback.

Kitna's last victory as a starter came Dec. 23, 2007, when he threw only 16 passes, completed only nine and had no touchdowns and an interception in the Detroit Lions' 25-20 victory over Kansas City.
This time, he was one of the stars.

Kitna completed 13 of 22 passes for 327 yards with three touchdowns, an interception and a 124.1 passer rating in the Cowboys' 33-20 upset of the New York Giants.

Kitna had a solid game and made some terrific thows. His receivers were also playing hard. He gets a game ball from me.
