With Jason Garrett in charge, Dallas Cowboys will aim to win

With 1:55 left in the Dallas-New Orleans game Thursday evening in Arlington, the clock struck midnight for the Cowboys.
A 12-yard touchdown pass from Saints quarterback Drew Brees to wide receiver Lance Moore made it all but official: The Cowboys would not become the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
It was the longest of long shots anyway. Cinderella's sisters had a better chance of getting their plump feet in the glass slipper than the Cowboys had of winning 11 consecutive games. That's what it would have taken in the Jason Garrett regime to get a wild-card berth -- eight straight regular-season wins and three playoff victories to make it to the championship game.
