IRVING, Texas - Peyton Manning's recent four-game stretch is that of mere mortal quarterbacks.
He has been intercepted nine times. He has taken six sacks. And the Colts have lost three of four to fall to 6-5, their worst 11-game start since 2001. They haven't lost more than five games in a season since 2002.
Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium, though, the Cowboys expect the more familiar, less defensible Peyton Manning - the one who's rewriting the NFL record books.
"They've got an excellent scheme. They do an excellent job," Cowboys defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni said. "The quarterback is Hall of Fame material and the receiving corps with the tight end is really good. It's a big challenge, it really is."
