Wednesday can't come soon enough. Signing him would be a great start to rebuilding the front 7 IMHO.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Not only that but Sexon isn't an agent, Sexton is.
A tipster that good would certianly know how to spell the agent's name.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

It certainly wouldn't be a shock if we did get Ferguson signed first thing Wed. morning. It's a move that's been rumored to happen all year becuase of the connections. The NY papers reported this morning that some in the Jets orginization think Parcells already has something lined up with Ferguson.
Signing him would be a nice way to get things started. I think they want to add at least one starter at each level of the defense. Probably 2 in the secondary.

Hollywood Henderson (the forum member, not the player) scooped the board that he met JJ at a Champions sports bar in Indy while our owner dined with Sexton and Parcells. Today, multiple reports that we are interested in Ferguson, including one that claims the Jets are worried that he is ready to jump to Dallas. Where there is smoke there is fire. I bet he's our first signing.

This really isn't abnormal tampering. Its what goes on. its strange that specifics like that would surface, so that is doubtful, but if true nobody would ever think twice about the tampering side of it.

A paralegal is the first clue that the deal is unlikely.

I think that is a capital idea. Assuming we have all that capital.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.
