Last year, Woodson was the Raiders' exclusive franchise player. This year, last Tuesday to be specific, they dropped him to their non-exclusive franchise player. The article refers to the Raiders dropping the "exclusive" part of the tag and making him non-exclusive. That was done LAST Tuesday, not today. They haven't done anything with him today.

Thank you. I was beginning to go crazy with all this "Woodson is a FA" stuff.

You guys obviously didn't believe me, but you have to believe Adam!

Default With Adams post

it appears Raiders snuck under Cap.

Now they MUST trade Woodson to add Moss in trade?

I sense Woodson can be had a for a second day pick.

I think they are under the cap, Woodson included.

But their cap situation will change again once Moss is in the mix, since he is not yet "officially" on their roster.

On the Raiders message boards they said Randy Moss will redo his contract, making his salary this year into a SB, so basically he redid his contract, this is from Raiders message board
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

"We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time."

You mean there's more than one that can type?

I think Woodson has been an underachiever since entering the NFL. Not to say he's not a good player, but I think he lacks professional motivation for some reason. He should be dominating the NFL at his position based on his college credentials and where he was drafted. His poor attitude doesn't make him all that attractive either.

Does anyone think Woodson still has the skills that made him the Heisman Trophy winner and BP can change his attitude for the better while maximizing his talents?

I'm not sure I'd gamble $15mil plus without knowing the answer.
