Breaking the season down by Quarters
I did this last year and predicted a low of 8-8 to a high of 10-6
Here goes 2004 Schedule
@Minn
Clev
@Wash
Giants
First two teams have horrific D's. We should light that up
We have owned Washington and Giants are in turmoil
3-1 Best
2-2 Worst
Pitts
@GB
Detroit
@Cinci
Look to half Pitts/GB, Detroit is a MUST win, we will kill Plamer
3-1 Best Season 6-2
2-2 Worst Season 4-4
Phili
@Balt
Chicago
@Seattle
look to half Phili/Balt. Beat Chicago and Seattle a tough one
2-2 Best/Worst Season, Best 8-4 Worst 6-6
NO
@Philly
Wash
@Giants
We win NO, Washington, Giants - Philly will be for marbles
3-1 Best
2-2 Worst
So we make playoffs best case at 11-5 or bubble at 8-8 worst case. I like our schedule a lot.

I like most of them except New Orleans and Seattle. I would count those as losses in worst case scenario. I'm also going to give Washington one win with Gibbs this year. My worst case scenario is 5-11. LOL I'm always the pessimist when it comes to predicting future results.

Like the breakdown. makes it a lot easier to see the season, as opposed to just arriving at a final record.
you could argue that the best case for both the 1st and 2nd quarters of the season would be 4-0. i don't imagine will be 8-0 midway, but all 8 of those games are very winnable.

I predicted 11-5 after the draft.
And just to let you know, we beat Minnesota in Madden.
Quincy- 16-30, 146 yrds, 2TD 2INT
JJ-30 attempts, 144 yards 0TD, 0Fum
T-New- 1 INT
Final Score: Dallas-33 Minnesota- 21

Great post. Looking at the schedule post-draft, I agree that it is very favorable. I think that Dallas could start the season 4-0 but, more than likely, they will be 3-1 with a loss to either Minnesota or Washington.
The first 8 games look to put Dallas at 6-2, or 5-4 at absolute worst. The Philadelphia game (at home) is really the turning point of the season. I'll be at that game (can't help but say that again!), and it might turn out to be a must-win in terms of winning the division. Everyone knows to go anywhere in the playoffs you need to have one of those BYE weeks.
There are so many dogs on this schedule, the Giants twice, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cincinatti (they'll be worse this year with Palmer), etc, that if team has improved in talent from last year, they are a clear playoff contender.

I highly doubt that that game will affect us winning the division.

You don't think you guys will be in the hunt by then. It's a little early to shrug off your season...But hey, you are an Eagle fan with lots of history...
Be excellent to each other....

The first quarter I have us 3-1,second quarter we go 2-2 Third quarter 1-3 and the fourth quarter 2-2 for a grand total of 8-8 maybe 9-7.And all this could change do to injuries to Dallas or the teams we play.

Eagles are an 8-8 team at best.
Reid is losing this team.
Where are the corners? Duce Staley?
You bring in two high paid dorks.
Good job on paper. Its going to rain on your field this year.

First off, excellent post Nors, I almost didn't even see this when the board was cluttered with multiple posts from the same poster. GREAT JOB, and if I can find the "thumbs up" thing, you get the referral for bringing a great post to the table...Keep it up.
Anyways here's my take....

I agree, first 2 have horrible D's, and I agree on the latter part, so worst case is we lose to Minny...(I know, possibly too optimistic on this one but...
4-0 Best
3-1 Worst

Unfortunately I see us losing at Lambeau but to no one else here..
3-1 Best Season 7-1
3-1 Worst Season 6-2
I know, I know, the best and worst are the same...My reasoning is if we happen to win against the pack then we'll blow an easy one against detroit the following week.

Ahh, Seattle is here, and seeing that I currently reside here in Seattle, I can add insight here. S. Alexander only shows up for the spotlight (if you had seahawks highlights jammed down your throat all the time as I do, you would know what I'm talking about). Therefore, Mr. Alexander will be in the spotlight when they play the boys, so he will bring his game, mix that with Seattle's home wins and this is probably a loss.
BUT, I have a hunch we beat Philly in Dallas once again, lose @ Balt and take Chicago. Therefore.....
Best 2-2 Season 9-3
Worst 1-3 Season 7-5

Agreed, But I have a feeling we lose to NO which goes in my worst case scenerio..
3-1 Best Season 12-4
2-2 Worst Season 9-7

So my take is worst case we can earn a wildcard birth and best case is we get a bye. Either way I think our boys will be playoff bound yet again.

IMO, those last 4 games will make or break our season. We close out with:
NO
@Philly
Wash
@Giants
That is 3 division foes to end the season, 2 of them on the road. I see us being about 6-6 or 7-5 at this point, so how we finish the season will be huge.
