Yes, if not here, then somewhere....provided other teams are aware come next season if he's released and slid back onto the practice squad again.

If not, I could see him on the practice squad all of next season and then it'll be tried yet again his third-year in the league.

He competes with other nickel backs, becomes a backup and special teamer, and maybe tries to learn to tackle better. Until he improves quite a bit, the bench is where he belongs.

90% Of them were "give him a shot" last year and advocating him over FA's.
We are now going 3-4

Times are a changing!

Lets go get a FS!

Until they announce they are going to the 3-4, it ain't official. I for one hope that we don't.

I do agree....go get D. Smith or another proven FS please!! Sorry, don't know where Hunter will go except as a nickel back.....

I think he will stick for another year...after all we will need him for the new 3-8 flex Defense

cutting him would seem stupid, it's not like he costs a lot or anything. only the patriots go into a season with 3 cornerbacks, and even they don't start camp like that..

I agree. Plus Hunter is still young enough to really catch on. Everyone forgets he came from a small school. Takes these guys just a little bit longer to adapt to the NFL. Being that this will be his 4th year, I think Hunter will show great improvement and will be fine no matter what position he plays.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Hunter does have the size & speed to be a FS...

With Parcells & Bowles taking over on D expect changes and finally putting our players in a position where they can make plays!

If he does not have the speed to play safety then he has no speed to be playing CB. As for size the man is 6'02 208 that is plenty of size for a FS. I think Hunter would do much better at FS than at a CB position
