Skins sign C Casey Rabach
First signing i've noticed.
ESPN.com
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2003100
"The team also got an early start on other team's free agents, reaching agreement with center Casey Rabach, The Associated Press has learned."
Name: Casey Rabach - Baltimore Ravens
Position: Center
Grade: 69 | Key
Alert: None
Comment:
Rabach shows a good understanding of the game. He takes excellent angles to his blocks and generally gets into good position. Shows good footwork in pass protection, possesses adequate lateral mobility in the short area and flashes the ability to redirect inside because he plays with good awareness and body control. Didn't sustain any serious injuries at the college level and has been durable throughout his NFL career. The problem is that Rabach is a much better football player than he is an athlete, and he also is a little bit of a tweener OG/OC that lacks ideal size/strength at OG and lacks ideal athletic ability at OC. Isn't as effective as he needs to be on pulls and lacks the speed to turn the corner. Doesn't have the bulk to anchor against effective bull rushers and will get pushed back into the pocket. Overall, Rabach has shown that he is capable of filling in over a short period of time at both the OG and OC positions.

You just knew that the skins were going to be first out the gate. Big signing, little signing. They just had to be first.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

Who said the skins wouldn't sign players this season?......Everyone who actually pays attention to the paper knew this was going to happen.....
Skins have holes and they are going to fill them.......this time with blue collar guys....not sexy picks and deion's.
______
Now back on topic......I've heard more bad things about this guy than good. But bottom line is that he is an upgrade to raymer......
Now for corner back and wide receiver........hmmmmmmm
Hail to the Redskins- win or lose!

I think you are forgetting something.......Ferguson is good at stopping the run but mediocre in pass rush situations.
this is what the line looks like now....
~Samuels~dockery~Rabach~thomas~jansen~
Until the center proves himself I'm not voting him to the probowl yet BUT he is the weakest link on run plays. On passing downs Dockery is. Those 2 lineman dont scare me because 1 of them has to mess with thomas.

Raback is good. I actually liked him better then Raiola from Nebraska, coming out. He's going to be a good player for them.
