Our own Jay Ratliff is high motor as well.
The same things was said about Spencer coming out of Purdue in 2007.

Well I wouldn't say that I hear every prognosticator call only white players high motor guys this is a new one to me.

I hope not. Dallas can't afford to move up in the draft. They need every pick they can get in this draft and in future drafts.

Matt Jones. high motor. lol.

Jerry Jones: "I don't know when I've ever seen a player impress our staff without having played in a ball game any more than Matt Johnson."

He's right about us on the defensive line. But why JJ. Watt instead of Marcel Dareus?

Miller is definitely a better 3-4 OLB prospect than Robert Quinn.

On paper Watt is a much better pass rusher.

J.J Watt get's eaten up on running plays cause he doesn't hold his gaps well enough.

Dareus does not suffer to Watt in the pass rush.

I would be thrilled if it panned out like this. JJ Watt is a top 10 prospect IMO, and he would provide a pass rush from the defensive end spot. If Spencer can play like he did at the end of the season before and we get Watt, we would have the potential for a terrifying defense.

Watt did what in the Rosebowl? Nadda!

Look, good college player, good guy but doesn't show up in the big game.

Gets burned on his gap too much on running plays.

Will be a solid pro but not a stud. A Greg Ellis type of pick. We can get an X factor level of player.

Marcel Dareus in his last 2 bowls just took games over on that side of the ball.

If I have to chose between the 2 at # 9, Dareus, who is going to be a stud, no questions asked.

Plus he can play top notch on all spots on the front 3 of a 3-4.

Gives us so much more flexibility and is more pro ready than Watt.

Dareus has had some outstanding bowl games , but week to week , in SEC games , he has disappeared . His own coaches have said that he is not a 3-down player and that he is more effective as only a 2-down player . The Cowboys might as well keep Spears. I watched 6 or 7 of Dareus`s games this year , just to get a look at him . He seemed to take too many plays off and he becomes a non-factor.

I think Dareus could play 3-4 NT no problem.

He's 22-23 years old and 310.

He can get to 320-330 no problem.

He has a very thick lower body.

Built like a dumptruck.

If we wanted to do that at 9 vs riskier Taylor in 2 I'd have no problem with it.
