Is McNair restructuring his deal?

Nors, there were some great names on those lists but brother you confused the deal by having too many.
Ty Law, Darren Howard, Couch, Barret Robbins, Samari Rolle, Eddie George are not likely to end up near those figures this season and probably not for the same teams.
Donovan Darius is also a likely cut.
McNair restructures every year. The team is fine backloading him because they expect to rebuild when he retires. Rolle and Geroege may get axed to free up salary so McNair may keep near that entire cap hit.
Robbins, Law, Rolle and Howard interest me. Dallas is keeping itself in good cap shape and could use a starter on the OL, at CB, DE(Move Ellis inside next to Glover or rotate Wiley and Howard until one emerges as a stud pass rusher).

Not many Cowboys on that list. Thank God!
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Overpaid Cowboys (or soon to be)
Only salaries are listed below (i.e. these are not cap figures):
Dexter Coakley
2004 2500000.00
2005 3300000.00
2006 4552000.00
Larry Allen
2004 3500000.00
2005 4500000.00
2006 3500000.00
Darren Woodson
2004 1500000.00
2005 3500000.00
2006 4000000.00
I don't think any of these guys play out their contracts at those salaries.
Coakley, IMO, will not be on the team next year as we cannot afford to keep him when we have James waiting in the wings. James will likely be as effective as Coakley but at a fraction of the price.
Woodson is slowing down and is not the proper safety to be pairing with Roy. Thus, to further Roy's development, we need to find a proper FS to start next year. I was hoping that need could get adressed in this past draft, but I guess they didn't like the players on the board. We may luck out if it turns out Davis can be the man but I have my doubts.
Allen is paradoxically the one who could stick around even though he was the least effective of the three last year. If he can regain some semblance of my mobility, he still has the power and the smarts to play at a Pro Bowl level. The only real question is how much heart he has left.

If Samari Rolle was cut I'd be interested, pretty decent corner, especially if we can get him at a fair price.

This is extremely sad. Jerry should ask for his money back.
