Default Tastykake vs. Hostess vs. Drakes Cakes
Being from the Philly area, my loyalty should be to Tastykake, but I always preferred the Hostess Chocolate with creme filled cupcake (until recently when they cutback on the creme) and Drakes Devil Dogs (with millk of course). How about the rest of you?

Never had a tastykake and never heard of drakes

So I have to go with Hostess

I never thought of them as regional, really, though I know Mallowmars are and you guys are missing out if you don't get them.

Never had Drakes...

Tastycakes wasn't that good to me...I guess my expectations were too high.

Hostess is ok depending on what you buy...

Lived in Dallas, live in Philly area - Tastycakes have more variety. Can't beat their fruit filled pies. Hostess is pretty solid. Can't beat their chocolate cup cakes - but, if they've cut back on the cream....

Tie goes to Tastycake... Haven't really eat much of Drake's in my past...

Drakes without doubt!

Yodels, devil dogs , ringdings and funny bones..

I miss these cakes so much! even home they are hard to find, Hotess bought them out and are killing them!

also love peanut butter kandy tastety cake. some times I can find them down in the south but when I do they are stale
