I think we seen that used when Newman was taken as an added justification for the pick but then they rarely used him in that role.
But with Dez, taken lower, they threw him right into the mix in that role.
Just interesting.

I'm so sick of that " plus he has return skills" argument for the very reason you gave. If he has a role already on the team, chances are he won't be a return man for long. Too risky.
We were selective about when we used Deion there and it's only a matter of time before Dez is treated the same, like Newman has been too.

If I were Carolina, i'm taking AJ Green with the 1st pick. Developing QBs will do so much better with weapons around them and Steve Smith wants out of Carolina. Get a QB next year.

If I'm not insulting you, I'm probably not aware that you exist.
Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.

3. Landry Jones, Oklahoma (Projected top 5 pick)
4. Nick Foles, Arizona (Projected late 1st/early 2nd round)
5. Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State (Projected early 2nd round)
6. Tyler Wilson, Arkansas (Projected mid 3rd round)
7. Kellen Moore, Boise State (Projected early 4th round)

50 mill guaranteed on a rookie wide receiver is asking for trouble.

lol, that's every team after the broncos

He would fall no further than Tennessee. They may really like Dalton, but I'm almost positive they would take Dareus.

If you were Denver and were presented with the following two scenarios, what would you take?
1. Peterson
2. Phil Taylor
1. Dareus
2. Aaron Williams
I could see how Peterson is entering the mix.

Me too.
I think the quality of depth at DL trumps the depth at CB in this draft. So, with that being said, you could see Denver taking the best CB available and taking their chances of nabbing a quality DL in the next round.

I think Arizona would strongly consider Gabbert or Von Miller over Dareus, if one or both is available.
