Id still much rather have Smith..

honestly, hes the only OT i wanted

I LOVE his upside..having the 9th pick, I wanted to make sure we took advantage of it..and I think we did

So what if they did? Atlanta set the bar for a significant move much higher than that with their deal. There was no reason for us to "settle" or just trade for the sake of getting an extra pick.

They did the right thing. Either get exactly what you want or dont do the deal. We got a great player at a huge area of need, there's no loss in that situation.

Yeah, they also reported we were definitely taking Constanzo over Smith

It all depends on how Smith and the other guys turn out, doesn't it? If Solder or Castanzo or even Sherrod are close to as good as Smith, maybe we should've traded down.

But if Smith lives up to all the potential we seem to think he has, we probably did the right thing... And I usually like trading back.

I guess the other question would be if Prince turned out to be really, really good... But somehow I don't see that.

I'd rather sign Michael Huff to play FS instead of drafting either Williams or Moore.

Only two of the four (at most)were gone by 16 and that is counting Smith. JJ Watt was probably the other. Castonzo and Solder were still there and so was Cameron Jordan. Amukamara was also still there.

Williams can play corner. I would have had Heyward or Wilkerson at 40 but they are gone. Red may want Dalton, I hope not.

You have to look at who the other guy would have been. We'll see tomorrow. Castonzo had to be the trade down target.

If they were presented with that and didn't take it then i'm dissapointed, however let's see what happens tomorrow. I would have traded down unles Peterson was there. We took care of the line so i'm happy, but you pick him at nine then he has to start RT.

Idk, 49 is definitely tempting especially how the first round turned out, lots of talent left. I think we could have traded up a couple spots in the first to get Smith, and only had to give up a third or something but that is getting risky so I'm glad we got a guy that we really needed.

Would have taken it, Castonzo would have been a great RT still and we have options for the next round.

Yeah, but it's not like they knew that's how things were going to shake out. Like dbair said, you get exactly what you want, or you don't make the deal.
There's always more to the story.
