Default Albert Breer just on nfl network, says could get done by weekend

was just on, nfl total access on now, breer said could get done by the weekend, maybe someone can post the video when comes available,

nfl total access said that they still think could get done by the 15th of july, but if not, could drive a wedge between players and owners if not agreed by then and the owners lose money on preseason games

breer said a few more big hurdles to go through and could get done, but still needs to be done

owners and players are suppose to come in thursday i think, but meetings start tomorrow

+1 on this, all the way around. May the two sides find a common ground, and have a few minutes for a hot dog and to watch the fireworks.

No offense, but doesn't someone say, "A deal could get done this weekend," every weekend? At least that's what it seems like to me.

Not that I recall. For the last 4-6 weeks we've been seeing this week and the next as being the estimated target date for rolling out the CBA, or a full agreement in principle.

If you would stop calling in with fake bomb threats, perhaps a deal could finally get done.

I wonder if this is just a trick to get us all tuned into news about the NFL. If they didn't say it was every other week then no one would be reading the same articles or really giving a general crap until something legit got done.

Gotta quit slinging my new toy idea around the internet. Can't wait for Wednesday when I can hit up Lowe's and Home Depot for the pipes for the body and barrels, and the resin I need for casting a few pieces that can't be done otherwise.

Built a few links of the feed chute last night in between sanding down the barrel supports to the right diameter. That part is going to look pretty dang good once I get it put together and get the feed belt put inside of it.

Eh, beyond Florio's "June 30th" prediction, I haven't really seen much talk along those lines. But this weekend (or, I should say, early next week) is seen as pretty much the deadline to settle things before they have to start cancelling preseason games.

I predict by the end of the weekend they will have a package agreed to and ready to be submitted to the union for voting approval.

My b-day is sunday. I'll be 25 or a 1/4 of a century old.

This seems like a monumental Bday for me, and I'd love to have a CBA agreement as a gift.

I agree.

If it isn't done quickly it will likely get ugly again.

Owners have a very real impetus to make this happy this week and the players are motivated by the need to start free agency and get paychecks for rookies.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

Still waiting for "could be" to turn into "is."
There's always more to the story.
