Drew Brees has sent his New Orleans Saints teammates an email informing them that the deal is done according to Brad Biggs of the National Football Post. Brees has been heavily involved in the labor process, from being a plaintiff in the Tom Brady case to working closely on matters to find a resolution.

Brees’ email, per a league source, includes a timeline for the Saints, including physicals on Saturday.

Did all the players put in their votes like they were supposed to?

I'm happy this crap should be done but wasn't this one of the reasons it was held up another week?

they havent voted yet,
first the vip reps, for players committee i think 13 of them vote first, then they take that to each team captain, and they vote, then they take it to each team for them to vote & approve, best i remember, thats how it works, but note, brees said that saints teammates would take physicals that saturday from what i understood, not this wednesday espn & nfl network were speculating if they signed monday or early tuesday morning

but i think brees was saying basically, they got what they wanted or close to it, and its done, they just have to vote yes now

so still has to be approved by players, but brees was happy i think with what de smith and goodell had worked out since saturday night

The big guys got what they wanted it sounds like.

The owners, the commish, the head of the NFLPA as well the top and most marketable players.

Now the little guys are to do what their player leaders tell them.

Happy this will end, but the process reaks for the lower 75% of the players.

Right, but he's more speculative and not as firm as Herpes Face is.

Default PFT:Brees email presents different timeline for week ahead

AP
The NFLPA* Executive Committee is on their way to Washington D.C. Sunday night in anticipation of Monday’s expected vote to recommed ratification of the next CBA.

Perhaps the most well known player on that committee, Drew Brees, sent his Saints teammates an email Sunday that was obtained by PFT’s Mike Florio. (NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora first reported the contents of the email.)

I trust Brees. Hes a reliable guy. But, if hes lying, I will smack the mole outta him. Dont toy with my emotions, Brees.

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"

I wanted it to drag out another 3 weeks....cancel the 1st 2 preseason games for the Cowboys...they are home games. Then they will either refund me, or I can take credit toward next years tickets.

So I wouldn't have to pay for 2 game of CRAP!!!!!

And yes I am serious.....

I was hoping they would just cancel the season just so I could see people freak out and post about nothing.
