FWST: Garrett enlists Cowboys alumni to help his restoration plan (Notes)

Hill Jr. chill@star-telegram.com ARLINGTON -- Coach Jason Garrett's plan to move the Dallas Cowboys forward in 2011 includes reconnecting to and embracing the franchise's illustrious past. The use of the flex defense on the first play of the preseason against the Denver Broncos to pay homage to legendary coach Tom Landry and former players was one example. Garrett has placed pictures of former players and past games throughout the Valley Ranch complex. |
