CBS Sportsline's Pete Prisco reports the Jacksonville Jaguars actually thought they had a trade worked out with the Minnesota Vikings for franchised S Donovin Darius, but indications are Darius' contract demands were too much, so the deal never got done. And that's the rub. Any team who trades for Darius will want to lock him up long term before making the deal. The word is the Jaguars want a first-round pick, but the talk now is they will drop that price down to maybe a second or lower.

We can give a 2nd to NO for Howard... we can give a 2nd to Jacksonville... we can give a 2nd to Miami for Taylor.

Have I either A. Forgotten anyone? or B. Run out of 2nd's yet?

Some people keep forgetting that Darius is a SS....the same position as Roy. We need a FS.

I wouldnt give anything for Darius...he doesnt improve our defense much because he is a liability in coverage

If minnesota were to get Darius that secondary would be down right nasty
