I say go with Hunter, Adams and Bullocks in the 2nd round.

Depends on whether that 2nd goes to N.O. and what kinda maneuvering they'll have to do to get a 2nd back. However, I do think the 'boys are gonna draft a FS regardless of when the guy is drafted.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

That is true but at this moment they still have their 2nd.

If he can put on some weight, let him go for it. He's kind of light for Safety. Look at his stats from last year, in two games he performed fairly well imo.

I'm a strong advocate for letting hunter/davis battle it out.

I feel Hunter will be a good safety.

I agree but I would still like to see us pick up Bullocks if we can swing it and throw him into the mix. Hunter is injury prone and Davis is undersized. I have no problem with the undersized aspect being a firm subscriber to the "it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog" school of thought. But BP has made it clear that he has a preoccupation with size (I'll leave it to others to speculate on what he might be compensating for) so I have my doubts that Davis will get a fair shot. Therefore I would like to see us with a legitimate prospect to fill that spot who does not have any injury issues or size issues, and that would be Bullocks.

Hunter is not an answer. He did sub par at CB. He's not a FS.

Lets get a true FS in here?

No kidding Nors. When Hunter had the opportunity to tackle before he got hurt, he sure didn't seem to enjoy it much.

What's the book on Thomas Davis? I'm not generally "for" drafting another safety high, but if he's a highly thought of player and would really round off our defense, then I'd be for it. Is he just considered the best of a poor class, or is he a genuine top-notch free safety?

He's a top notch safety, but he's a Roy Williams clone. 6'1" 230 lbs, and evidently a lot of teams are projecting him as a persuit weakside linebacker.

Ack. For some reason I thought he was supposed to be of the "true" free safety mold. Are there any of those in this draft?

Brodney Poole, who's kind of a Deion Grant clone. And Josh Bullocks, who's kindof a Ed Reed clone. Both are 2nd round prospects.

Just two weeks ago Nors you were pushing for a player that could play CB/S like Marlin Jackson or Corey Webster just interested what made you back off of that coarse of thinking. I'd rather see someone like Brandon Browner in the second that a "true FS" like Brodney Pool.
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."
