"I had given up," admitted Jerry Jones, not to be mistaken in any way for a football realist, but normally an extreme sunshine pumper who always seems overly exposed to harmful UV rays when it comes to evaluating his club. "I'm glad my team has got more heart and guts than I do, and I want to admit that," said the owner after the Cowboys used far-fetched dramatics to rescue a 27-24 overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers.
