Even Wes Welker is amazed by the numbers he's putting up as Tom Brady's go-to guy in the New England Patriots' high-powered offense.

“I don't think you can really look at them and not think this is a little bit crazy,” said Welker, who is on a record-setting pace as the NFL's leader in receptions and receiving yards. “But, at the same time, I try not to really think about it.”

Dallas Cowboys slot cornerback Orlando Scandrick doesn't have that luxury.

Knowing his return to action after missing three games with an ankle injury would coincide with the Cowboys' trip this weekend to New England, Scandrick packed video of Welker when he traveled to his hometown of Los Angeles last week during the bye.

“I studied it on the plane,” Scandrick said. “I woke up early and studied it.”...

To compete for the playoffs, Dallas has to improve here: Only four sacks against Eli Manning over the past six games!
