Do not give up draft picks to get cute and start trading back and forth... History shows that is a recipe for disaster... Plus nothing in the last ten years, exept for maybe 2 of them, has shown me that Dallas can find the cream from the boiling pot of blubber Dallas has had on the stove for this long.

The core of this team should have been drafted from about 1999 - 2001... who out there thinks that we could have had a core consisting of a consummate 4000 yard passer in Q-Car (gone-bipolar & substance abuse), a pro bowl CB in Goodrich (gone-jail-manslaughter), plus an OL anchored by perennial center stud Matt Lehr (gone-FA Atl) and two run stuffers and QB harassers in Blade and Stewart (gone-cut thrice-currently IR, and who knows about Stewart), or the second coming of Ken Norton Jr. in Marcus Steele (gone-hellifIknow).

I didn't think so...

Stay put and get the BPA!!! If trading down means picking up more first day picks while Jerry is on the can in the men's room, then fine... Otherwise no way Jose!

I don't believe in team motivation. I believe in getting a team prepared so it knows it will have the necessary confidence
when it steps on a field and be prepared to play a good game... Tom Landry

I agree, don't trade up...I think there is no chance of us doing that...

However if we stay with our top 3 picks we MUST hit home runs with impact players!

The only player that I would trade up to get would be Clayton, and he will be there at 20. This draft doesn't have can't misses.

I don't like the fact that DJ runs around too many blocks: he's got to take on and defeat blocks. That running around blocks $h!t won't cut it in the NFL. I think Merriman is a better player than DJ, anyway.
